Mhairi Longmuir of Peacock Creative Design studied for 5 years, and since then has 13 years of experience designing and developing multimedia (graphic design / motion / animation / video, web / e-learning), and 7 years experience in developing e-learning material for the University of the Highlands and Islands (Scotland), and also for freelance clients all over the world.

I love to immerse myself in design and technology. I thrive in keeping up to date with best practices, new technology, and to produce work which is innovative, accessible, and fits the needs of the user. I am continually fascinated how good design can be used to improve learners productivity and experience – and how it can transform highly technical concepts into enjoyable and user-friendly professional learning programs and multimedia. I am creative, have a positive ‘can do’ attitude to my work, and enjoy a team effort.

Mhairi is currently working on her Certified Learning Technologist professional accreditation (CMALT), provided by the Association of Learning Technology (ALT). Her company Peacock Creative Design is also the official creative partner to TEDxInverness.
