Peacock Creative Design was the official creative partner to the event, and Mhairi Longmuir the co-organiser.
TEDx is a well-known brand across the world and Peacock Creative Design was delighted to partner with the event.
The event includes a suite of short, carefully prepared talks, demonstrations and performances that are idea-focused, and cover a wide range of subjects to foster learning, inspiration and wonder – and provoke conversations that matter.
Peacock Creative Design had a very pro-active role in most of the marketing and design – from the social media campaign to selling tickets, to the posters, and title designs for the videos, and also the general organising of the event.
The recognisable brand was given a visual style that reflected its base in the Highland city of Inverness, avoiding the over-used Scottish Nessy-isms (in all apart from our fun TEDx cup-cakes!) It showcased the TEDx event (which stands for Technology, Engineering and Design) in minimal and contemporary designs, whilst keeping the strong identity of the area.
